About Dr. Helen

A recovering elected official after 21 years of service on the Baltimore City Council. With a reimagined reality she continues to lead as an Inclusion thought leader working in the space of diversity, equity, and inclusion. She knows firsthand the importance of building resilience as a power tool in your leadership bucket. Investment in your talent and those you lead is a key component to your success. Dr. Helen Holton and Associates was born out of years of living and working through the intersections of race, gender, political power, and privilege and the impact they have on equity, fairness, and inclusion.  This collaborative organization of forward-thinking minds is committed to increasing human engagement and talent development for better outcomes. Our mindset moves from what's wrong to what's strong! Dr. Helen is an exceptional Coach, Trainer, Consultant, and overall Communicator who works with you to upshift the trajectory of your success.

She brings authentic truth, beliefs, and perspectives to situations without personal attachment. She speaks to what’s not being said from a sincere space of curiosity and inquisitiveness. The intention is to evoke a deeper level of real, vulnerable, and honest engagement in the work we do with leaders, teams, and organizations. The result is a stronger ROI (Return on Investment) and an optimal IRR (Internal Rate of Return) produced from your investment in human capital to build and strengthen more Inclusive, Resilient and Respectful (IRR) environments that lead toward a genuine sense of “belonging” felt by all.
